Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Mylapore-Chennai

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is located in Mylapore,Chennai.It is dedicated to the Indian  saint Sai Baba of Shirdi. The temple was built by Sri Narasimha Swamiji in 1941 due to his dedication and faith towards shridi sai baba. Sri Narasimha Swamiji is an important devotee. He wrote a lot of articles and essays about Sai Baba’s power and preaches. This Saint born in Shirdi as a Hindu was brought by a muslim Fakir (Devotee) and became an exponent of Sufism. He too performed Sithu (Miracles) like his mentor. There is also a part of Jodi (flame) burned in Shirdi is here as well. Agni prayers are performed on Sundays.

Unlike other baba temple, here devotees are allowed to touch the baba’s Statue.  Baba Statue here is made up of pure white marble. There is also another Statue of Baba which is made up of five precious metals. Other shrines like Lord Krishna and Lord Rama, the two incarnations of Vishnu are also in the temple.

Evening 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.


Thursday is a special day for the devotees of Sai Baba to come to the temple and participate in the Bhajans and prechings of Shirdi sai baba.
